About the Artist
Erica Peto
I am an artist and elementary school teacher who was born on the west side of Washington state and raised on the east side (in Tri-Cities). I began my teaching career in Kent School District in 1988 and when I am not teaching elementary school, I attend high school events with my 17-year-old daughter Lalie (rhymes with ukulele), travel around town with my goldendoodle, Poppy, in the car, and create art.

From my home in Lake Tapps, Washington, I enjoy all sorts of creative activities including acrylics, watercolor, ink, scratchboard, sewing, quilting, word puzzles, and digital art. If you see "not for sale" on many of my paintings, it is either very special to me or has been absconded by one of my brothers or my mother.
